Kayaking is a speciality of nautical tourism that opens up a world of possibilities for its practitioners. From adventures and incredible rides along the coast, an excellent way of sightseeing, discovering new places and enjoying your free time to the maximum in nature.
This water sport is also ideal for having a good time enjoying these beautiful areas. Explore the landscapes, feel the water and the sun on your skin in an environment full of life.
On the southern slope of the Ebro Delta Natural Park is the bay of Los Alfaques, an area of immense environmental value that provides an important tourist attraction for the Tarragona municipality to which it belongs, San Carlos de la RÃ pita. Some of the maritime routes along this natural harbour, the largest in Europe, depart from the tourist boat quay of La RÃ pita.
This nature reserve is home to the characteristic plant and animal biodiversity of the Ebro Delta. Pink flamingos, among other species, live and nest here, filling the area with life that you can admire while you practice sport. In the heart of the Mediterranean, inhospitable wetlands, imperfect layouts and expanses untouched by the human footprint spread out, composing a perfect balance that results in an ecosystem of profuse variety.
Trabucador Beach: It is an arm of sand that juts out into the sea, between the inland sea of the Bay of the Alfaques and the Mediterranean Sea, where you can observe the sea on both sides and enjoy the warm, calm waters of the Mediterranean.
The beach is located next to a protected natural area, the Punta de la Banya and Salinas de la Trinidad Nature Reserve. In addition to its magnificent landscapes, it is one of the best places you will find to enjoy a wonderful sunset.
