Vallcebre, in the upper Berguedà, is a municipality located on the right bank of the river Saldes. It is surrounded by the Ensija mountain range, the Cingles de Vallcebre, the Pedraforca massif, the Cadí-Moixeró natural park and spectacular landscapes. Its mountainous relief, surrounded by pine and oak forests, is a true wonder of nature.
You will be able to enjoy this spectacular via ferrata for beginners, where its verticality will make you experience the sensation of a great climb in an unbeatable environment.
The route starts with a small steep slope and continues with two vertical steps of staples. As soon as you gain height, the impressive views of Vallcebre open up before you. You will also reach a small natural balcony worth admiring.
Les Roques de l'Empalomar is a ferrata designed for the enjoyment of both novice and experienced climbers. You will find the sensation of verticality and enough aerial steps to have fun, with the added bonus of the location of the route, surrounded by the steep rock formations of the "Serrat de l'Esdevella". Once at the top of l'Empalomar you will head towards the prominent Garriga spire, accessible thanks to the Tibetan bridge. From the top, admire the cliffs of Conangle.
Other vias ferratas: The area is full of activities to complement the excursion, such as the other via ferratas in the area. Canalassa, Cal Curt and the Aeri de l'Àrtic equipped route.
At the end of the day, you can also visit the Vallcebre viewpoint, located next to the car park and at the foot of a "senyera". The views will take your breath away, in a good way.
